 Wishes For Baby Print
Burp Cloth Decorating Station
I pondered bibs vs. onesies, but ultimately decided on the cloth diaper burp rag. I went through these like hot cakes when Abigail was little. We used them all day, every day.
I printed out a few pictures of suggestions to help get creative juices flowing and had a jar of fabric markers available for use. They turned out so cute!
Auntie Courtney is so excited to hold you and snuggle you baby Brecken!
We had such a wonderful time celebrating Lauren, giving her advice, and pondering what little Brecken will be like. We love them so much! Come quickly, February!
That's wonderful. So excited for Lauren and she looks absolutely beautiful.
Thank you, Monica! I'm so excited too. I hope Lauren stops by to see your sweet comment! 🙂
That food looks delicious and it is so pretty, too! Such a lovely shower!
Seriously, pin each and every recipe I used. Everything was so delicious. I can't even.
Thank you, Carrie!
That is a beautiful baby shower!
Thanks, Tara 🙂
Insanely cute!! I LOVE the theme! And all the details!!
Thank you lovely lady! I loved the theme for a January shower. I couldn't pick anything "Christmasy" since that was all done and over…but I was able to score cute décor for 80-90% off!
such a cute theme, you did a great job Courtney!
Thanks, Heidi!! 🙂
Great job on the shower! Everything looks so pretty – love the theme!
Thank you, thank you 🙂
I love everything about this shower—the invite, French toast kabobs, hot chocolate, the chalkboard signs,
and especially the gorgeous glitter Brecken bunting!
Pinning some ideas!
Come throw me a shower next!! 🙂

Hooray! Thank you, Rachel!
I'd love to! Parties are kind of turning into my "thing" 🙂
Is that the same dress you wore to the mystery party? (I'm too lazy to actually go and FIND that post of yours. :-p)
Nice eyes! It definitely is 🙂 It worked well for this party too, don't ya think?
Everything about this is amazing! I love all the decor and the food! I am totally going to make those doughnuts! Doughnuts are my favorite!
Thanks! I just got a donut pan for Christmas, so obviously I HAD to try it out!
Holy cow you went all freakin out!! How perfect can a shower be! That's something I want to be better at-hosting a beautiful party. That food looks so yummy! Great job mama!
When your very best friend since 3rd grade has her first baby, yes you do go all freakin out! Ha!
Wow, it all looks so completely perfect and beautiful, Courtney (including your lovely self and Lauren!)! Excellent work. And major, major, major kudos on skipping the baby shower games.
Thank you, Meg! 🙂
I was originally planning on doing baby shower bingo, which seems like the least embarrassing of shower games and keeps people interested in gift opening- but at the last minute switched to the burp cloths instead. I'm SO glad I did!!
Wow! It turned out so cute and all of the food photos are making me hungry! So much for my diet tonight 😉
Thanks, Jen! Oh gosh. There goes my diet for the rest of Jan thanks to all that food! It was so so yummy!
oh my goodness! the next time you throw a shower can i come?! seriously. 🙂 or maybe you can just throw me a party or something?!
I'm down with that.
Gorgeous! You did a great job!!! Hoping that Ellie's party can be half as great as this!!!
Well, get yourself a secret pinterest board and go to town!! All I ever do is choose a theme and then work my food/menu around it 🙂 You can do it!
What sort of theme are you considering? I'd love to help you out if you want me to!
How fun!! I love it all 🙂 looks like you did a wonderful job. She is so lucky to have such a sweet friend in you 🙂
Aw, thanks, Lauren! I'm lucky to have her 🙂
Oh my gosh, love love love this so much! Every detail is adorable!
Thank you, Julie! That's really sweet!
Well, my laura had her baby!
Now your girl is next. =)
Yay for new little girls.
Hooray!! What did she name her?
It looks like little B might come early….but they're trying to keep her cooking as long as possible! We shall see! I can't wait to meet her 🙂
We are on our way to see baby right now. Her name is Salem (say-lum) marie. =)
they are 2 and a half hours away! Esh… and that drive with a 14 month old… ya feel me =/ lol.
I hope baby B stays in the oven a bit longer.
due dates are good.
salems due date was actually yesterday. Born today.
Haha
Brecken's middle name is Marie too! 🙂
They are 2ish hours away from me as well. I'm hoping I can leave A with my mother in law when B is born….but it depends on when she comes!
Salem is so sweet and Tiny. I adore her tons.
I hope your MIL can watch A for you.
=)
Brecken is a cute name too.
Everything looked so wonderful! Great job!
That is a high honor coming from the master of party throwing herself!!
I strive to party like you. Seriously.
Brecken and I are so lucky to have you. I can't wait to share how much her auntie Courtney loves her and planned a party just for her.
I love you both so much!
Oh my word, Courtney! This is absolutely adorable! What a wonderful friend you are!
Thank you, Amy 🙂 I really, really loved putting together this party. She's the best friend anyone could ever ask for. I was thrilled to get to do it!
That is such a great theme for a baby shower! I love that the guests decorated the burp cloths – that is very clever! It looks like it was a lot of fun!
Thank you! And it was so perfect for January. 80-90% off Christmas décor?? It saved big $$$.
I had gone back and forth over decorating onesies or bibs….but then I thought about what I really used the most and the answer was obvious! Burp cloths! We went through those things like crazy. Some of them turned out SO cute. I wrote on mine, "Go back to sleep Brecken!" hehe.
Where did you get the burp cloths? I'm needing to buy a lot for a big shower!
Same here!! I've looked everywhere and the closest thing I can find is Gerber's cloth diaper 10 pack.
This was a fairly small shower so I grabbed two Gerber packs from Target. It was interesting though- the big pack was way more gauzy than the smaller pack :/ You can also find them on Amazon though I'm not sure how much cheaper they will be from there. Sorry, hope that helps a little!
It’s nearly impossible to find educated people ffor this topic, but
you sound like you khow what you’re talking about!
Thanks
