I’ve had a lot of chips and dip in my life, and because of this, some people (me) might consider me an expert on the matter. (I am) Which is why I can tell you that this recipe is the absolute, hands down, best. (It is.)

This seven layer dip is easy to assemble and the magic comes from the pan that you serve it in.

  1. I make this almost exactly, except I mix cream cheese with the sour cream & taco seasoning! Cream cheese makes everything better 😉 And much more unhealthy.

  2. Oh, isn’t it crazy how you can make a man happy with food. Guess what hubby’s having this weekend?!? … Seven Layer Dip!

  3. I’d leave put the processed bean dip and make as natural as possible. Use organic ground beef or make bead dip from organic pinto beans. Just use your food processor and add some jalapenos for some heat since your using one hot bean dip.

    1. Mine is a half sheet pan! So, 18×13? The main point is to put it in something that you can spread pretty thinly, so you can easily get ALL of the layers onto your chips. Hope that helps!

  4. I just made this for football watching later today! It looks delicious! The only difference made from your recipe was I added black olives. Also, it looks lovely on my decorative oblong platter!
