Simplifying Snack Time With Capri Sun Organic
This is our second year homeschooling Abigail, but having officially started Kindergarten last Fall, we’ve definitely taken a bit more structured of an approach to our daily routine than we did during Pre-K. We now do school 5 days a week and seem to have found a pretty good routine and structure for what our days look like with homeschooling in them.
After we’ve had breakfast and played for a while, I lay Mabel down for her morning nap. Then it is time to start our lessons for the day! It usually takes us an hour or so to work through them. And during that time Abigail is sitting still and really learning and listening. (And reading! on her own! I’m so proud!)
By the time we are done with her book learning for the day, she is definitely ready for a snack time to refuel and recharge!
If the weather permits, we usually go outside and run around and play for a while, so a healthy and nutritious snack is a must.
A few of our favorites are:
- Fruits- especially berries and apple slices!
- Vegetables- bell pepper and carrots are some of our favorites!
- Power bars
- Nuts- Almonds, pistachios, cashews are all great choices
- Dry cereal
- String Cheese
- Applesauce
- Crackers
One more thing that we love to add to our post school snack time is Capri Sun Organic.
Capri Sun Organic is made with 66% fruit juice and contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. It gives kids the taste they love and parents a wholesome drink option that they can feel good about serving!
Capri Sun Organic is available at retailers nationwide for $4.29 per 10 pack of 6-oz. pouches in the following flavors:
- Fruit Punch
- Tropical Punch
- Apple
- Grape
With flavors and quality like that, why wouldn’t you add it to your daily snacking routine? Be sure to look for Capri Sun Organic in your local grocery store!
What are some of your favorite healthy snack foods?
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
Mason loves these! Especially the apple ones. Cute pictures!!
I love Capri Sun. There’s just something about that little bit of juice in that shiny pouch that makes it all the better. I was excited when I saw they had an organic option now, though we have yet to try it out.
Also, as a side note… what curriculum do you use for homeschool?
I’m going to get some of these for C. We don’t usually give him juice but I think as a treat, this would be perfect. Thank you for sharing them with us!
