Thoughts On Motherhood With Burt’s Bees Baby
I know that I have shared this before, but I always think it is worth mentioning again(especially for myself!) that being a Mom is the one thing I have always known that I wanted.
From as far back as I have memories, I have always wanted to be a Mommy. I have wanted to stay home and raise my babies, just like my Mom did for me.
That isn’t to say it is easy, or without struggles, hardship, and copious amounts of coffee from severe lack of sleep.
But what it is, is so much more.
Becoming a Mama didn’t come quickly and easily for me. With 4+ years of waiting for positive pregnancy tests between my two girls(and loss in between) I have come to learn what a precious gift their little lives are.
They are miracles.
How could I not wake up every day and almost lose my breath or feel my heart continue to grow as I look at the two beautiful children that I have been blessed with.
They fill up my days(and nights!) with snuggles, tears, cuddles, hope, a future, and so so so so so much love.
I am by no means a perfect parent and heaven knows I have a long, long, long way to go but I know that my girls have helped me to grow into a better version of myself. A more giving, more loving, more gentle, and less serious version of Courtney.
