Finn’s Summer Maternity Pictures
I’ve mentioned before that I have never had official maternity pictures taken! Let alone pregnant in the summer maternity pictures…
Aside from the occasional picture taken during Abigail’s pregnancy, I didn’t keep track of my experience with her nearly as well as I did with Mabel(thanks, blog!) and with Mabel, I took weekly photos, but they were just cell phone pictures. I’m so, so glad I have them! But they weren’t professional in the slightest.
So this time around, I toyed with the idea of getting them done. Unfortunately, this is my biggest pregnancy and I wasn’t going to be able to have them booked until 36 weeks- something I wasn’t sure I wanted to chronicle forever. But, my friend Laura talked me into booking them and now, of course, (as she said!) I’m so glad that I did.
Meaghan took our pictures again and just did an amazing job. Really, I think IF you are feeling huge and uncomfortable and not very pretty you SHOULD hire a photographer to take your pictures- because they will make you feel beautiful. Like, so beautiful. Really. She made me look so much better than I actually do :p

Beautiful!! I bet these will be some of your favorite family pics as your kids get older. The girls look precious with their sweet expressions and the details – smiles, hands on your belly, blues, pig tails and darling sister moments are all there! Love your outfits and the setting is gorgeous. What a sweet family!

I didn’t have professional/official maternity pictures with Mason and I regret it completely! Especially if he is our only child {I pray not, but trusting God’s will for us}. I am so glad you decided to get them done. I know you will cherish them forever. These pictures are so sweet and pure perfection. I love that dress you are wearing! And friend, you are glowing.
