Shared Girls Bedroom With Beddy’s
Our shared girls bedroom was featured on Project Nursery!ย
Thank you to Beddy’s for sponsoring today’s post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Home Sweet Spena!ย
It was about this time last year that I first shared Abigail’s ice cream bedroom and now here I am a year later sharing a bedroom update of the shared girls bedroom!
We have always planned for the girls to share a bedroom at some point, but wasn’t quite sure when or how we would go about it. But, now that we are ready to get working on Finn’s nursery, it was time to get the space ready for the two girls!
And, I think we pulled it off!
I’m going to cite/link to everything that I can at the end of this post, but if you see something you’re curious about, don’t hesitate to ask in the comment section! I always reply to every comment I get ๐
We absolutely adore these matching Ikea beds that we got for the girls- but man, they can be a PAIN to make! The cute little railings on the sides make it really tricky to tuck bedding neatly(particularly for a 6 year old!). So I was absolutely THRILLED when I discovered Beddy’s bedding. All you have to do to make the bed is zip it up!
I got the girls matching Goldie Dots sets and they are absolutely PERFECT for this space! Just the perfect amount of ruffle and detail while still staying light, bright, and subtle.
I unintentionally happened to choose super coordinating colors between Abigail and Mabel’s bedrooms, so it was incredibly easy to merge their things together! Mabel’s spice rack bookshelves, wall art, and banner all fit right in!
The gallery wall grew and we moved in her anywhere chair, but other than that and setting up her very own big girl bed, we didn’t have to do too much else to get her all moved in!
(P.S. Notice the ultrasound photo of Finn on the back of the door? Abigail wanted it to hang there so she could see it easily :))
The little mint table was a lucky $10 antique store find for Mabel’s nursery that I spray painted….well Abigail’s pink table was the same! I found it last week at a local antique store for $25 and spray painted it with spray chalk paint. It turned out absolutely adorable!! I have a new handle to replace the old one that I have yet to attach, but it’s going to be so cute! (Once I finally get around to it…)
I’m so happy to have discovered Beddy’s and know that the girls room is instantly going to look SO much tidier now that all Abigail has to do is zip up the covers and the beds are made for the day! So quick and easy.
I absolutely love their sweet and girly bedroom and am so happy with how it turned out! Now all we need to do is actually move Mabel in…..maybe next week ๐
I’ll be sure to keep you posted on how it goes….once it finally happens!

LOVE their shared room and I love Beddy’s bedding!! My SIL used it for my nieces shared room and it’s just so awesome!
Ummmm…seriously need Beddy’s for my own bed…just to cocoon into. Such a sweet shared space!
You did a fantastic job! Want to come and update my daughters room for me?
Just love how it all came together so perfectly!!! We’re now going to be in our current house longer than expected, so we’re toying with the idea of the boys sharing a room. I’m undecided still!
I love how cute this room is!! Let me know how you like that bedding! I have been looking at it for my girls shared room as well!
Super cute! Love the gallery wall and how bright the whole room is! Is M out of her crib now??? We are working on it with R and I am accepting all tips for transitioning!
What a cute shared room! The Spena Sisters are going to form an unbelievable bond in there. However, if they are like me and my sisters, it’s a bond that they aren’t going to fully appreciate until they are adults! ๐
Their room looks so great! Love how it turned out! And all that delicious natural light!!
This is the most darling room I’ve ever seen!!! I’m jealous of Abigail and Mabel! And I need to look into beddy’s…I’ve seen other brands but they always have characters on them! ? these are darling!!!!
LOOOOOOOOVE Mabel’s garland! You did such a good job!!! I’m dying. I want to make one for my room LOL.
Random question… Where’s the wire basket with the pink handles from? I’m looking for something like that to hold some blankets in our living room!
I want to say these were on Shark Tank or something similar. I think we need these for adulting-fail days ๐
How can it be that they are “mature” enough to share a room. Time truly has flown!
Their room is adorable! I loved their rooms before and had no doubt that you would make their shared room just as darling. I love it! I’m sure the girls do too, I mean, how can you not?! And that gallery wall is to die for. I really want to do one in both of the boys rooms – but I’m scared! I’ve never done one before but love the look of them – this one in particular! Can you please just come decorate my house for me ๐
Also, question: you spray chalk painted Abigail’s nightstand?! I am preparing to do some chalk painting [and maybe non-chalk paining too] soon and love the idea of the spray paint. Where did you find your chalk spray paint? How many cans did her little table need? All the details, please! I haven’t painted anything in years – and then it was with spray paint, I kind of love that stuff a lot ๐
I love all the little details in their room and that polka dot bedding is adorable!
Eeekkk!!! Their room is absolutely adorable! <3
You nailed it!! Their bedroom is darling. I really loved both of their old rooms, but somehow they’re better together. The combined space is even cuter. Love your style and I loved sharing a room with my sister when I was little. Great work ๐
