Summer Themed Easter Basket Ideas
Did Easter sneak up on anyone else or is that just me? When I realized(last week) that Easter is on April 1st this year, I quickly sprang into action to put together my kid’s Easter baskets! I didn’t want to buy any more toys(we’re still working on clearing out the excess from Christmas and birthdays!) so I opted to put together a summer themed Easter basket for each of the three of them.
Think, swimsuits, sunglasses, sandals, and more. All the things they will need to be sunshine and pool ready(and beach ready, in August!) this summer.
Check it out!
Summer Themed Easter Basket Ideas
// sunglasses // gingham hat // hi, sunshine hat // blue ruffle swimsuit // solid pink cover up // striped cover up // brown sandals // purple flip flops // coral sandals // anchors swimsuit // boys swim trunks // ice cream sandals // girls brown sandals // baby flip flops //
I also grabbed Abigail a pair of sunglasses(currently sold out or I’d link them!) and a pair of jellies(with a strap) in case she wants another option aside from flip flops.
If you wanted, it would be fun to also add in things like sunscreen, beach towels, pool toys, and water shoes too! But their baskets are only so big- ha! They’ll probably be overflowing as it is 😉
So fun!! Spring is flying by so I have been on the hunt to put together our baskets, too. I’m doing Easter candy, Easter books, bendy Easter bunnies, swim suits, sunnies, mason jars for smoothies, bubbles and a new swing for the backyard.
I absolutely adore this idea!! How can I get my MIL to read this so she doesn’t get a bunch of toys!!!
Great idea. What a sweet mom. Wonderful idea, and useful
