13 Months Of Finn!

Here we are, a month beyond the big O-N-E and yet, here I am- keeping the monthly updates alive and well 😉

Luckily, he’s kind of the greatest, sweetest, cutest little man man ever (not biased) so I don’t mind writing about him every single month.

Finn’s 13 Month Stats!

Size: Rocking the 18-24 month clothes, size 5 (!?) shoes, and I have absolutely no idea on his height + weight. Thankfully, no trips to the pediatrician, so we likely won’t know until his well visit at 15 months!

Breastfeeding: He still nurses 2x a day and I still wonder how much he even cares? I’d love to continue through the winter for all of the immune boosting I can manage, but we will see! I taught him how to sign for milk, which is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. So he does actually ask for it every morning and before bed, but it is a super short session.

Eating: Perhaps we have our first picky eater on our hands?? We’re in a fun food throwing stage that we’re working on stopping and if there is something he decides he doesn’t want, there is nothing you can do to get that food in there. Woof. Still though, he has a great appetite and between the three kiddos- they’re eating us out of house and home.

Some of his favorites are sausage, eggs, peanut butter sandwiches, blueberries, cheese, chicken noodles, and oranges.

Sleep: Our littlest sleep champion! As long as he isn’t teething hardcore, he goes to bed around 6:30 and sleeps until 7 or so the next day. Bless up. Sometimes he requires a paci replacement or two, but some nights we don’t hear from him at all.

He takes two naps a day but I think is working towards moving to one afternoon nap. I will be curious to see how this section changes between this month and next!

Loves: Pacifier obsessed. Being held. Eating. Mom. Baths. Eating. Going outside. Swinging. Eating. Puffs.

Hates: Diaper changes. Woof. Being dropped off in the nursery (though the last few drop offs have gone really well! So maybe he is already over that??)

Milestones: Pulling up and cruising, two teeth, waving hi and bye, signing more, milk, and all done, blowing kisses, hugs, the fastest army crawl you’ve ever witnessed, getting into the trash can and the pots and pans cabinet, watching about two minutes of a show.
