Do you have one of those recipes that you’re kind of “known” for?
You know, the one when someone invites you to an event they usually say something like, “do you think you could make sure to bring – fill in the blank- food, drink, dessert?”
This is that recipe.
My husband, Jim, likes to joke with me anytime that there is something really good that I’ve introduced him to that it is “one of the top 10 best things you’ve brought to our marriage”
Show him a new movie? “one of the top 10 best things”
Change up his wardrobe? “one of the top 10 best things”
New recipe? “one of the top 10 best things”
These bacon wrapped smokies? “Hands DOWN, one of the top 10 best things”
This recipe is one that my Mom has always tossed together for events that ask for you to bring a side, or an appetizer, and honestly- with the amount of brown sugar that you can use on these, they could probably qualify for a dessert too if you really wanted them to.
Because they’re insanely delicious and so easy to make, they make an appearance at nearly every single birthday party, holiday meal, and family event that we ever attend because they’re THAT GOOD (and because everyone always requests them!)
There are never any leftovers!
This recipe is SO simple and SO delicious, I had to put together a blog post just for y’all to save and use for later!
Be sure to take these to your next event because it is for sure to be a massive crowd pleaser!
It is always so fun to get your kids involved too! Finding recipes that are fun to do together, isn’t always easy, but this one fits the bill.
Abigail and I had so much fun working together- she did an incredible job wrapping the smokies together with me. Just make sure to wash your hands well after handling the bacon!
Definitely get your little ones involved with you in making this recipe!
