Maternity Stitch Fix Reveal!
Time for one of my favorite types of blog post! My latest maternity Stitch Fix reveal! This box was so, so good and I can’t wait to share it with you.
But first, I want to make sure you know that at the bottom of this post there is a $150 Stitch Fix giveaway! So be sure not to miss out on that!
Okay, so I asked my stylist Nicole M. for more shorts(I wear the Liverpool shorts that came in my last box seriously like every day) and also for some maxi dresses to try. Can you believe I have never owned a maxi dress?! It’s a true story. So I figured this pregnancy just might be the one to finally give them a try!
Here is her message:
Isn’t she the sweetest!? She sent me everything I asked for and more. Such a great box!
First up,
Gilli Ryland Maternity 2fer Maxi Dress
This dress was definitely my absolute favorite of the box! I loved the style, the color, the fit. It is breezy and dressy but still comfy. The top is stretchy so I can still wear it after baby is here and it will be perfect for nursing.
Seriously. Love. This. Dress.
Liverpool Kaiden Distressed Maternity Short
I paired these shorts with one of my favorite Stitch Fix items- my floral top from fix #12! Initially I thought these shorts were absolute keepers(because I need more shorts so badly) but after looking at them in pictures I just didn’t love them. I love the distressing and I love the length of them, but they gapped kind of strangely on me, I didn’t love the light wash, and I wasn’t loving how my thighs looked in them(just being honest!) So, unfortunately, I did end up sending these back. I so wish they would have worked though!
Skies Are Blue Norelle Maternity Lace Aline Dress
Gah, I loved and disliked this dress. I loved the lace, I loved the style, I loved the fit! But, I didn’t love how short it was(I was worried about how short it would get with an even bigger belly!) and I didn’t love that I wouldn’t be able to nurse in it after baby is here. I didn’t love how I felt in it, but looking back at these pictures, I’m totally kicking myself for not keeping it.
Loveappella Abdera Maternity Knit Top
Initially I tried on this top with the shorts you’ll see below and I hateddddd it. It was like a giant circus tent of no, but then I thought maybe it just didn’t really work well with the shorts, so I decided to toss it on with some leggings instead. Annnd, loved it. So soft and comfy and airy. Such a cute and casual outfit! But I sent it back(just don’t even ask me why. I’m pregnant and can’t be trusted with these decisions)
Liverpool Coretta Maternity Cuffed Short
Ugh. These shorts broke my heart. I was so excited about them. I loved the blue and I loved the style. I also loved that the maternity panel was a tan color instead of the usual dark blue(so it wouldn’t show through tops!) but they just did not fit right. Like at all. I didn’t like them(on me!) the first time I tried them on and I hate them(on me!) looking back at these pictures!
I had such a dilemma over this box. I tried everything on immediately when it first arrived with no makeup on and my hair not done and I only liked the dress. But then I tried everything on again with my hair done and makeup on and kind of loved everything…a lot. After we took pictures Jim was chanting, “Keep it all! Keep it all! Keep it all!” as I walked up the stairs to go put his basketball shorts and a t shirt back on :p
I deliberated for as many days as Stitch Fix lets you- I even got the email that’s all, “time to check out now!” because I kept waffling back and forth over what to keep. But ultimately, ended up only keeping the Gilli Maxi Dress. I’m so, so happy with that dress though and I’m planning on wearing it this Sunday for Mother’s Day!
You can see all of the other Stitch Fix reveals below:
That maxi dress is perfect! You look amazing! I also liked the last pair of shorts, too!
I think you made the right choice – that maxi is PERFECT. The only other thing I like is that striped top, but it’s going to be hot soon and if it doesn’t work with shorts then you made the right choice!
The maxi dress was the obvious keeper! I do think you should have kept the stripes top though after seeing it here!!! It’s so perfect! And the non nursing friendly dress would have been a deal breaker for me too!
I really like that red and white striped top. The dress is really cute too! I love love my Old Navy maternity shorts, so maybe try those? They were cheap too and I’ve worn them with R and now with this baby! 🙂
The maxi is so cute! You made a good choice!
I love everything in your fix — especially those shorts and the striped tee. SO cute!
Gilli Maxi Dresses are truly some of my favorite. I’m so glad you kept yours, it looks SO GOOD!!!
That lace dress was pretty swoon-worthy, and the striped top was cute too!
That dress!! I need it! Oh my goodness, I am so glad you kept that maxi dress, it is absolutely perfect and really, I need it. Does it come in non-maternity? Adorable! I’m glad you finally got a maxi dress and that you love it!
I LOVE your Gilli’s colorway!! Is the top black? So good!
I love the a-line dress. Return regrets are the worst. ugh!
That maxi dress looks perfect on you! I definitely would have kept that as well! I know what you mean about the shorts, I feel like it’s so hard to get that perfect fit!
Can I just say that I am seriously MAD that that taxi is maternity because I WANT ONE TOO!!! It is pure perfection. I am so glad you kept it and that you can wear it this weekend!
OMG I adore that first dress! I also loved the striped top! Great fix!
That maxi dress is divine. The print and colors are amazing. I liked the other lace dress and striped top as well, but I’m a flowy top gal myself so dig big tent tops.
You look adorable in everything! But that Maxi – SO CUTE! Congrats mama! What an exciting time 🙂
I love that orange and white striped shirt!
