Spring Stitch Fix, Again!
I promise that I’m not going to blog every single Fix that I get(since I’m doing the Stitch Fix style pass service, I’m getting them way, way more regularly than I used to!), but I really felt like this spring Stitch Fix was just SO GOOD that it needed to live out here in blog land.
If you’re interested in trying Stitch Fix for yourself, as always, my referral link is here and always available for you to try! You get $25 towards your first Fix (which covers your shipping and gives you $5 extra!)
This spring fix was so lovely. I truly loved all of the pieces and very, very easily could have made this a 5/5 box.
I wasn’t too specific this time around to the lovely Nicole- basically just told her I’m in the market for more nursing friendly clothes and maybe some shoes. I also added some new pins to my Pinterest board to give her a better idea of what I’m loving these days!
Report Footwear Laina Braided Sandal
These sandals are great! I love the color and I love the zip up detail on the back of them. They also fit perfectly! My shoe size is kind of weird….after two pregnancies with my feet being unaffected, apparently baby three decided to go ahead and jack up my shoe size too(along with everything else!) So I’m needing to size up most of my shoes these days- I was happy to see that these were the right size!
Unfortunately, I already have a pair almost identical to this(same color and style on the top) and apparently no one on my IG stories liked them. Which truthfully really surprised me!
Loveappella Henrow Lace Detail Knit Top
Loved it. Kept it.
But really, I love the knit detail, the color, the fit. Everything about this tank top is fantastic. Definitely going to be wearing this all summer long!
Market & Spruce Camren Bow-Back Knit Top
Okay- I also ADORE this top. A lot of y’all didn’t like it on my IG stories either??? All of the people voting on my items were some big ol naysayers this time around, for real. BUT ANYWAY. It is gray with black polka dots and the cutest tie detail in the back. I love the way that it fits and it is 100% my style. Love it. Kept it!
Papermoon Caxton Twist Front Knit Top
This top I didn’t *love* when I first pulled it out of the box. The colors didn’t quite do it for me. But the more I wore it and the more I looked at myself in it, I actually really liked it! (Spoiler alert: IG voters didn’t)
I like the fit and the knot detail really is fun and different from anything else that I have. Also, I do love myself a good floral. I can’t help it!
Lux & Co Fonda Knit Maxi Dress
Oh y’all. This dress is so, so beautiful. When I saw it was coming (when I peeked at my fix as I ALWAYS do) I was so hoping that it would be the perfect dress to wear to an event I have with Jim coming up soon.
It’s hard to tell in the picture, but it is just the prettiest green color. It is light to wear all summer, it is stretchy so I can easily nurse in it, and I just love the style of it.
Unfortunately, I HATE how I look in it. I feel like it clings to all of the areas that I am most self conscious about and even with spanx on I just didn’t feel confident. Truthfully, I felt beyond that- I felt like crying in it. Maybe that doesn’t make sense to any of you, but, that’s how I felt about it.
So, even though Jim and Abigail begged and pleaded with me to keep the dress because they both loved it so much, I just couldn’t do it.
After much back and forth and back and forth again, I ultimately decided to just keep the two tops I knew that I really liked (the tank and the polka dots) and return the rest.
Such a fantastic fix!
I love everything you, it all looks fantastic!! I understand on the dress though this last one I got I loved in the picture but on me it just didn’t work. Even the photo I took wearing it for my blog post it looked ok but in person it just didn’t.
It’s such a shame that the dress was a no! But I know what you mean, if you don’t feel good in it, it doesn’t matter what other people think, you just can’t wear it. I hope you find a dress that you love for your event!
Definitely don’t want to spend $50 on a dress you don’t like. But it does look gorgeous on you in this picture!
I love that you picked items you loved even if they didn’t get the most votes. Your opinion is the most important. I know what you mean about not feeling great in a dress. Hope you find one you feel fabulous in because I think you look fabulous 🙂
Whats the SF style pass??? The two tops you kept wete my favorites on you! And I totally understand your dress conundrum.
