Spenas 2014!

The last few years I have taken the time to put together a giant recap post of all the things that happened in our family over the past year. This year, I decided to take a little short cut with that 🙂 Here is a picture from each month that I particularly love or that shows a bit of what we were up to during that month of this past year.
Feel free to peruse my archives(always a good time) if you want to read more or you can enjoy reading the previous years posts:

It can be a challenge to condense SO many wonderful memories from a year into 12 individual moments, but it’s an exercise I really enjoy. There is nothing like a year in review to blast you in the face with the countless blessings in your life.
We started 2014 carrying a lot of sadness and hurt, but I clung to the word “hope” and the verse Psalm 130: 5 & 6 “I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord more than the watchmen wait for the morning, more than the watchmen wait for the morning.”
And that waiting paid off for us in big ways. It always does, for everyone, even though it might look a little different for each of you. He is a God of hope and love, and He is good. Always.
Happy 2015, friends.

  3. That last picture. So precious. That's one of the best ultrasound pictures I've ever seen! You actually can see a baby instead of just a black blob. ha! Congratulations again and happy 2015 🙂
