Thanksgiving Decor

Call me absolutely crazy, but we are hosting Thanksgiving at our home this year!

It has been years since Jim and I have hosted, but with a newborn in the house, we opted to not have to travel and have family come to us instead.

Because of this, I’ve been keeping an eye out on all of the gorgeous fall and Thanksgiving decor available at the moment. While I love absolutely love decorating for Christmas, there is just something about the golds, browns, and coppers of fall and thanksgiving that have me swooning.

So I thought it would be fun to round up some of the Thanksgiving decor I’ve really been loving this season! Check them out!

(You can click on any of them items in this picture to shop- don’t forget to pin it to save for later!)

Home Thanksgiving Decor

I think one of the things I love most about fall decor is how warm and cozy it makes your home feel. It’s like pre-gaming for Christmas.

I’ve seen so many great blanket and pillow options to change out on our couches and front entry bench to instantly match with the season. Plus, I’ve really been eyeing this feather wall art to put above our fireplace….think Jim will go for it?

Wreaths

Another one of my favorite ways to decorate for fall and Thanksgiving are by changing out my wreaths! I’m actually pretty picky about what I choose, but I’ve found some really great options online this year! I particularly love the feathers and the gold leaves.

Wreaths don’t just have to go on the outside of your doors either! I love hanging them inside the house and even have a wreath hanging in front of my windows in our living room. They’re such a fun way to incorporate decor into your home!

Rugs

Okay- don’t even get me started on how much I love exterior doormats. I typically change them out every season- some, from necessity(fading from the sun and rain) but mostly, just because I love them! They’re such a fun way to welcome people into your home.

And now that I’ve recently discovered the wide world of Etsy doormat options, I don’t think I’ll ever run out of amazing options to choose from!

Serving Pieces

Of course for Thanksgiving, serving and setting the table are of utmost importance. I’ve really been loving the blend of white, wood, and copper for this. Throw in some marble accents and I’m 1000% obsessed with it. SO good.

Kitchen Ware

And what would Thanksgiving be without all of that time in the kitchen? I’m in absolute LOVE with the color of this mixer– do I need it? Absolutely not. The plain black one I have is perfectly acceptable but oh my goshhhh it’s so pretty. Someone buy it so I can live vicariously through you!

What are some of your favorite ways to decorate for fall and Thanksgiving?

  1. I am totally with you on this! I would much prefer to have everyone over to my house so that I don’t have to go anywhere but also because of my toddler. He knows his boundaries in our home and it’s toddler proof. If he goes somewhere else he will get into everything and I will spend the entire time telling him no! haha

  2. We are hosting most of Conor’s family this year too! And tying to sell a house! Crate & Barrel has some of the best stuff for thanksgiving. Hopefully you get some sweet hostess gifts for putting in the time.
