Welcome To Destin: Part Two

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! We most definitely did. It was filled with…..absolutely nothing. Which, to be honest, is my personal favorite.

In case you missed it yesterday, here is Part One of my vacation posts! Today is the final installment, so no worries, I won’t be clogging up your feed with any more vacation pictures after today. 🙂

Our vacation’s to Destin are some of my most favorite times and memories ever. We do essentially the same things every single year, but the evolution of Jim and I + Abigail growing up has made each year a little bit different and a whole lot more fun.

Take a look!

It went by way, WAY too fast but it was such an amazing trip. Dad is already making plans for next year’s vacation and I’m ready to buy a 2015 calendar to mark off the dates.

Next up for us?

Starting pre-school! *hyperventilates*

We were going to start today, but someone(me) failed to be 100% proactive, so I have a couple more supplies to grab before we’re ready to go. So, Monday it is. But, guess what? We’re homeschoolers. We’re so allowed to start late.

Can’t wait to fill you in on all of it!

  1. Thanks for all your sweet comments Courtney. Helps to know I'm not the only one struggling through this. Although I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I wish you lives closer so we could meet up for coffee. Guess I may just have to rely on good old fashioned emailing. 😉 thanks for always caring. Means a lot.

  2. We're already looking forward to our baeach trip next year too! We stay about 30 minutes from Destin in a more secluded area, but venture out to Destin a few times while we're there. Maybe we'll cross paths 😉

  3. I'm so interested in knowing more about your homeschool curriculum/routine if you feel like sharing! I'll be homeschooling Sadie as well, so next year we'll be starting and I don't know where to begin!

  4. Looks like you guys had a blast… but that was pretty much a given. How could you not!

Haha, I LOVE your laid back schooling attitude. Probably was nice to not start today after the terrible weather last night. I started Pre K-3 stuff with E this morning and I was feeling a little less than prepared :/.
