Do You Wanna Eat A S’More?

Did you just sing my post title to the tune of Frozen?
No?
I bet you did now. Right?
The weather was slowing picking up on Saturday evening at Grandma Jenny’s house, so we ate our dinner outside and got to do something really, totally, completely awesome.
Wait for it.
We made s’mores.

Eat chocolate? Hover around open flame?

Sign this little lady right up.

Remember how I mentioned her polka dot obsession recently?

Just pointing it out again.

Traditionally I am completely anti food on your face pictures. I mean, ew. {Said in my best Jimmy Fallon S-A-R-A voice} But s’mores? We all looked like this one bite in, so there was really no avoiding it.

My handsome hubs. The s’more master.

Truthfully, I don’t like s’mores. Truthfully truthfully? I’m not much for chocolate. So I just ate blackened marshmallows and called it a day.

When is the last time you had a s’more? Do you have any fancy s’more recipes to share with me?

  1. I love smores! Seriously. I made my husband make some on the stove when we had a gas stove and I miiiiiiight have made some in the microwave the other day since we have electric now. Definitely not the same, but when you have a craving, you gotta do what you gotta do!

  2. Yummy! I love s'mores! And your photos are adorable!

  3. Aw! This is so fun! I love her little polka dot obsession! You'll just have to explain to her when she gets older why in all her pictures she's wearing polka dots! " well, Abigail, you were obsessed with polka dots!" haha! She's so cute. I haven't had S'mores in a long time, but boy are they so good! 🙂 You're such a fun family!

  4. Love her outfit, love Jim's shirt! And I am seriously proud to say that when I saw the title I sang it, and then thought, she probably didn't mean to do that so I was so excited when you mentioned it.

  5. I am in disbelief over you not liking smores. But… I suppose it's ok. Lol A is the cutest & could pull off wearing polka dots everyday. Sweet (no pun intended) post.

  6. Love s'more pictures! I can't wait for it to warm up some here & we can get our s'more eating on. Sometimes in the winter, Luke & I will be craving a s'more so we make them in the microwave. And if we're feeling really adventurous we pop them in the freezer for a little bit. Although, there is nothing like a campfire s'more.

And yes, I did sing it like the Frozen song as soon as I started reading the title. #noshame 🙂

  7. Haha! I totally sang out the title to the Frozen song! 😉 Looks like so much fun! I can't remember the last time I made a s'more!

  8. Totally sang the title. Lol. I'm not a s'mores fan either. I don't care for the marshmallow. So I'll eat the chocolate & gramcracker.
I love her outfit. Three year olds are so funny!

  9. Yep, sang the title as soon as I saw it! Me and my girl are the exact opposite of ya'll….I love s'mores! My Allie didn't want to make one, she just wanted to toast and eat the mashmallow, then said it was gross and tasted like "burnt leaves". lol Not sure how she knew what burnt leaves taste like though….

  10. In this case a little smores on the face is a-okay! I don't like food on the face pics either…no cute, thanks for sharing your baby covered in green goo…not.

I sang the post title to Frozen before I even opened it. yup yup

I'm not much for smores or chocolate either. Like one every blue moon ish. i tried fancy-ing one up with a caramel chocolate and I liked it even less…so I've nothing for ya.
