It’s The Little Things: First Baseball Game Of The Season!

Abigail and I have been having the most wonderful visit to Phoenix this week. I can’t believe we are already halfway through our trip! It is going by in a flash. I can’t wait to give you guys a more thorough update on our trip! In the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram{username apluslifeblog} or the hashtag #CourtAndAbigailTakePhoenix for Mountain Standard time updates.
On Monday night my parents took us to our first baseball game of the season! They are Diamondback season ticket holders, so it was really fun to get to see where they sit during the games and get a feel for what their stadium is like. Even though it wasn’t our beloved KC Royals, we still had a wonderful time 🙂
The weather was absolutely perfect, the food was awesome, and really? Does it get any better than baseball? No. No it doesn’t.

Abigail sang sweetly to the National Anthem, inhaled her hot dog and apple slices, shared some kettle corn and ice cream with all of the adults, played in the kid play place called “The Sandlot”, and excitedly cheered and shouted “he’s wearing MY jersey!” when Paul Goldschmidt was up to bat. We left during the 5th inning to take a tired little girl home.

During the car ride on the way back she talked about how much fun she had.

So did I, sweet pea.

So did I.
