Big Sister Training 101: Playtime With Lamaze Toys

One of the lesser thought of baby registry items that I always try to recommend to my new mom friends when they are starting up their baby registries, is to add some toys! I learned this lesson the hard way when Abigail was about 6 or 7 months old and it dawned on me that she didn’t have a single toy to play with(oops).

So off I went, out to Amazon, and the very first toys I ever bought her to play with were Lamaze!

I ordered her very own Freddie the Firefly and it got so much use! I remember taking it on her very first little road trip to Tennessee and she played with it in the back seat for such a long time.

As she played with them she would say, “baby!” “baby!” because I had told her these were for the new baby. But we shall see if she’s quite so excited to share them in a few more months :p
