Spena Baby Weeks 11 & 12

Week 12
Holy 12 week growth spurt, Batman!
Also, my resident cell phone photographer(Abigail) snapped this picture of the one time I was dressed this week(no lie) so I can’t expand it any bigger due to it’s….quality. 🙂
Symptoms | Just the unrelenting nausea and a ramping up of the vomiting. I had a stretch there where I vomited three days in a row, so that was a fun 11 week surprise. If memory serves, weeks 10 & 11 were the hardest sickness wise for me with Abigail, so I’m hoping that things should slowly start improving from here on out.
Cravings/Aversions | No cravings. All aversions.
Missing Most | I can’t say that I’m missing anything although I had a hilarious dream recently that I went out with my sister in law and I drank an entire mixed drink and smoked an entire cigarette(which I’ve never even done before lol) before I remembered that I was actually pregnant. So there’s that.
Size Of Baby | Week 11 was the size of a lime/fig, 2 inches long and .25 oz.
Week 12:
Plum/Clementine
2.13 inches
.49 oz
Sleep | Only getting up to go to the bathroom once, tons of crazy dreams, sleeping soundly(on my stomach!) otherwise.
Workouts | Nothing at all, but I’m very much looking forward to getting back to hitting the treadmill/elliptical. Hopefully sometime in the next few weeks!
Clothing | All my regular clothes still. Whew.
Gender | Still thinking boy. Abigail has finally switched her guess over. I guess our talking about the possibility of it being a boy has made her think that it is one. She told me that it needs to be a boy so she can have someone to dance with(aww!) and then she said that once he is here she can MARRY HIM WOOHOO. Lol. So once again, we got to have a long talk about who we are allowed to marry. Crazy girl.
Nursery | I won’t start buying or putting anything together until we know whether it’s a boy or a girl, but I already know what our crib is like and I have a large rug that will cover most of the floor in the room that is a gray and white. So I’ve started up a Pinterest board for nursery inspiration and ideas that will be fun to start on come January!
Hubby | Just as helpful as ever! Love that man.
Looking Forward To | Our appointment on Wednesday! So looking forward to getting to hear the heartbeat over the Doppler for the first time.
Abigail is too cute!!! I love that she thinks she gets to marry "him" My guess is still girl though! lol! I can't wait to find out! I have to live vicariously through you when it comes to the fun stuff about pregnancy! Mine was so awful that I think I let the bad things outweigh the good sometimes and now I am SOOO not ready to do it again ever…or at least not anytime soon!

Your little bump is so cute! I was so hoping you were starting to feel better by now (maybe that pic you posted on IG was more recent than the weeks in this post?). It's no fun feeling awful all day. Hoping you feel better soon so you can indulge in all the fun holiday food coming up!

I hope you start feeling better in a big big way! Tossing your cookies sure isn't fun for anyone (except lex. Who imitates me and spits into the toilet. Teaching her some awesome life lessons over here).

Your little 12 week bump is too cute – grow, little Spena baby, grow! I have been trying to take pictures weekly, but can never manage to do it the same day every week because like you, there's no guarantee whether or not I'll be dressed for the day:)
You know I have an affinity for grey and if Ellie's walls weren't already yellow they for sure would have been grey. Loving the pinspirations!! Can't wait to see yours come to life!!
Cute bump!! I finally took a picture of mine yesterday 😉 15 weeks and I finally have a bump picture 😛 I fail! I'm luckily still in my jeans, and they're buttoned and zipped all the way (they weren't when I was just bloated, and they probably won't when this baby decides not to hang out so high) but I'm definitely in need of shirts. I have about 5 or 6 outfits that I rotate… it's a problem! And none of them are super warm so the snow thing is not pleasant!
