I take the emotion out of it- because, it’s just a “thing”, and passing it along to someone else who would need it, use it, and appreciate it, serves me and it far, far better than it continuing to take up space in my home.

I love keeping baskets, built ins, and hidden storage(think ottomans with lids, secretary desks, etc) to store things away quickly and easily. There is nothing better than knowing I can go to bed at the end of the day with everything picked up so fast!
