A 6th Birthday party
Another year, another party at the bounce house! Last year was so much fun, we did it again!
A fantastic and fun party that requires zero work and planning on my part? SOLD.
We scheduled our party for 9:30 am, brought a cake, a few balloons….annnnd that is it!
The bounce house provided the fun and the drinks and it was perfect for our six year old!
A brief moment to talk about THIS FROZEN BIRTHDAY CAKE. Just like her robot costume, this frozen birthday cake was 100% Abigail’s vision! She told us that she wanted a white cake with pumpkin spice filling, with white frosting and “Happy Birthday, Abigail” written in blue frosting on top and snowflakes on it.
Kristen from Frosted Cakerie (who also made these gorgeous baby shower cookies for me!) designed and created this entire frozen birthday cake for her. It is amazing and it tasted just as good. If you’re local, seriously hire her because she’s amazingly talented.
I was looking back at old birthday posts last week and stumbled upon Abigail’s 3rd birthday purple party and there was a video linked in the post. I watched it and happened to notice that I had a comment below that said “the sweet voice singing is Abigail singing Happy Birthday to herself” and I chuckled at how cute that was.
And then her 6th birthday happened and absolutely nothing had changed, lol! She sang Happy Birthday to herself loud and proud every single time someone sang it to her and it was hilarious.
Miss Abigail got some great birthday presents for a 6 year old! Ever since our trip to Legoland this summer, she has been all about the Legos and she got tons! It has been so much fun watching her putting them all together. She also got lots of play doh(which makes little sister happy too!) and a few other fun craft supplies.
We had the very BEST time with family and friends celebrating our sweet girl at one of her very favorite places(and I didn’t have to clean beforehand, holla!)
Will we have another bounce house party a year from now? I guess we’ll find out next year 😉
Awwww, Courtney! Looks like an awesome birthday for your Abigail!!! I love bounce houses for birthdays, it’s the best –super easy and fun for the kids! We had ours at a bounce house too, like 3 years in a row now! lol!!
Happy Birthday, Abigail!!!! 6 is the perfect age for a perfect princess like you!
This looks like so much fun! That cake is beautiful, and it’s so cool that she designed it herself!
It looks like lots of fun! I love that the bounce house appears to have an area for smaller children.
The picture of the four of y’all is wonderful!
So fun!!! Happy birthday to Abigail!
Ps- Courtney! You are so beautiful!!!!
Bounce House for the win! That cake is amazing, and don’t you think I didn’t notice miss Mabel not feeling the family photos. Girl probably wanted to just bounce!
Yay for a fun party with easy planning and “cleanup.” 🙂 Bounce houses are a blast and everyone looks like they had a great time. I’m amazed by the cake. Wow!! It’s so awesome!
In other news, I just noticed you got bangs. I kept wondering what was different.
Somewhere in the past year, Abigail has gotten so much more mature. You guys look like you had a tun of fun all around for her 6th birthday!
Indoor bounce houses/playscapes make the perfect birthday party! I am always so worried about entertaining guests, but places like this do the entertaining for you. Win win! It looks like a great party! And Abigail is just the sweetest.
Those bounce house places are so much fun!! I love how her cake turned out and her video singing along with the happy birthday tune was so cute 🙂
I love bounce houses and hadn’t done them since I was a kid…until last year a friend held their children’s birthday party there. Game changer. I can’t wait to have my girls’ party there. I love her cake. And I love that she knew exactly what she wanted in her cake. Looks like a great party!
